They just didn't buy the fireworks!

As you might know, the 1997 fireworks were going to be on the 8th of November but got postponed to the 13th of December.
This was supposedly due to gale force wind and rain. However, these winds never happened.
These are the notices I would have put up if I was Head of Security.

Due to the person responsible for buying the fireworks forgetting to buy them it has been decided to CANCEL the above event.

The above event was cancelled due to the person responsible for buying the fireworks forgetting to buy them. It has been decided that it will now be held on
SATURDAY 13TH DECEMBER 1997 at 7:30pm
It is hoped that the fireworks will have been bought by this date.
