Links

(basic page) means they haven't done anything at all to it at the time of writing, but maybe they have done something to it when you read this.
QuickDonations.com - contains links on a sidebar to sites that allow you to donate to charity for free, your donation being paid for by sponsors

Links to other IBM Placement students mainly based at Hursley

John's Homepages by John Collomosse, also at Bath and also at Hursley. I lived with him from Sunday 18th June until the end of July. Includes a section on the undocumented features of mobile phones, of which he has one.
Andrew Bates - Home Page by Andy Bates, also at Hursley. I lived with him from Sunday 18th June until the end of July. He's at the University of Plymouth Business School, and is the cause of many traffic jams - on the approach to roadworks he waits until he can't see the car in front! Still under construction, but there is some content now.
The Academic Homepage of John Davis who I was sharing a flat with until Sunday 18th June. He is at the University of Surrey, Guildford. His "personal" page now appears to have been removed, leaving only the academic page. (The link at the bottom that used to point to his personal page is now a mailto link). Due to this, I think this would easily win the award for Most Boring Personal Homepage! As the not-so-ancient proverb goes, some people are like their personal homepages!
Joe's Homepage! by Joe Parman, also at Bath and also at Hursley.
Greg's homepage by Greg Penney, also at Bath but he's the awkward one as he was at Warwick.
Steve's groovy home page by Stephen Gilroy from York, also at Hursley.
Jofis' Website : Cars, Clubs, N Ireland, Humour, My Creations, Links - that just about says it all! He is at the University of Ulster in Belfast and he is an ultimate poser! He wears boxer shorts with pictures on them, he also likes poser cars so much that he has a section on his page devoted to them! He lived just round the corner from me in Chandler's Ford, Southampton.
The Matt Hawkins Experience!! - also at IBM Hursley and from the University of Wales in Aberystwyth (as opposed to the University of Wales in Cardiff, Newport, Bangor, Swansea or Lampeter). He seems to think that I bring my own puddings to work and that Diet Coke is a poser's drink! This link points to the site at hawkini.co.uk, hosted on freenetname. Most people should find this one faster.
The Matt Hawkins Experience!! This link points to the mirror site on the University of Wales Aberystwyth server. Those accessing the Internet from a University or College on JANet, within the ac.uk domain, or via the JANet National Dial-up service, will probably find this one faster, as might those who access the Internet using U-Net. Hawkini 2000 DVD's (Region 1) - obviously the same HTML code as the Matt Hawkins experience only with different content - this site sells DVDs and is also operated by Matt Hawkins.
Emily Graham's Web Site - she was at North Harbour doing tech support. She has now added some extra tags so the page is viewable in Netscape!
KevinWilliams.co.uk - the new look photo gallery now in its own domain! He's based at Horsham, and is at Loughborough University.
A taste of things to come by Tim Poultney. The poserist website in the world, or so he claims! He's in the same department as me, and he comes from Liverpool John Moores.
timdp.co.uk - also by Tim Poultney!
Kingpin's Web Site by Dave "Kingpin" Parsons, another one from University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Stevens homepage - no, not the forerunner to Stevoland - that was Stephen's homepage anyway. This one is by Steven Richards, otherwise known as Richards the Liarheart, again at Hursley. He comes from Cheltenham and Gloucester College.
Joe Munns - also at Hursley. He's at Loughborough University.
Munnsmania - also by Joe Munns.
Neil's Ultimate Poser Site by Neil Richards, based at Farnborough, and at the University of Surrey. Now revamped and moved to its own domain (ultimateposer.co.uk) so you need never put up with the Geocities Ad Squares again!
Back Packers Bible by Chris Hallam, also at Hursley. He is at the University of Surrey.
A full list of placement students' pages on the IBM Intranet is available here. Only visible within IBM

Links to some Christian friends

Tim Ensor's Home Page by the former Christian Union President, who I am most fortunate to be living with, September 1998-June 1999! Better be on my best behaviour! (Currently being revamped...)
Tom Evans's Home Page (also in my house, September 1998-June 1999) Unfortunately, at the time of writing none of the pages in the Wedding Site are ready, even though the wedding has happened!
The Blue Fish Project by Dave Bish.
CyberPet's Home Page by Petra Whittenham.
Harwinworld by Damo Harwin
Ruth's Home Page by Ruth Densham
Claire Bedford's Home Page
James Richard Taylor has now moved his page as he will shortly be graduating.
Take Heart - Psalm 27:14 by Lucy Sidebotham - she went on the Houseparty to find God, and she found Him! Her testimony is on there as are a few other things.
Robert's World by Robert Hart - no he is not so sad he edits the page at midnight - he has a script that does it.
Sarah Rickson's Home Page (basic page when I last checked)
Paul R Riggs' Home Page - front page based on a basic page, including the SMALLTiME Design Co.
Paul Spencer's contact details

Links to friends from my course

John's (not so) Amazing Homepages by John Collomosse. Now with frames!
Greg's homepage by Greg Penney
Paul Crouch appears to have decided against naming his new page on Virgin Net, which his Bath homepage redirects to.
Ashley Jonathon Fisher Smith's Home Page (that won't mean anything to you unless you're a lecturer. Known to you and I as Timmy.)
Banjo's Home Page (Former BUMS President) (NB He wears boxer shorts, waxes his hair, bleaches his hair, wears a leather jacket and likes poser cars. POSER!!)
Oliver Barton-Jones has now graduated, so his homepage is no more.
Toby Bellwood's Homepage Even worse than Banjo, he wears boxer shorts, gels his hair, wears a leather jacket, likes poser cars, does wheelies on his bike, opens doors with his foot, throws things through his legs, does things behind his back, wears sunglasses indoors and wears sunglasses on his forehead. He even wore sunglasses on his forehead in the MATH0030 exam. POSER!!!
Jeff Hill's Home Page contains quite a few jokes.
Stu's Homepage by Stu Wilson has sadly been removed "due to its sh**ness" but you can still see a message on there.
Graham Yeadon has sadly removed his page and replaced it with something saying "Nothing".
Joe's Homepage! by Joe Parman, is currently down for major updating.
Geoff Cutler has now graduated so his page has gone too.
K Jobson's Home Page by Kev Jobson
Artifact Metal Zine by Jason Goh
twoshortplanks.com by Mark Fowler
Mike's Home Page by Mike Nash. Based on a basic page, but he has changed the title and added a downloadable file.

Links to friends in Cotswold 1, September 1997-June 1998

Misfit by Mark Waddingham. If he didn't keep changing the name and giving the page a new look, there might be less 404s!
Claire Emma Patten's Home Page (basic page)
R.A Bullen's Home Page by Richard Bullen (still reminiscent of a basic page but he has done something to it)
Brendan McCawley has now recovered from his bout of depression and rejoined his course.
Richard Curzon's Home Page (and you thought Stevoland used to be unreadable?)
J.A Rapson's Home Page by Julie Rapson (basic page)
J.A.G Painter's Home Page by James "Paints" Painter. He is a Mechanical Engineer, and I believe all Mechanical Engineers have to have a webpage, so their 1st year computing assignments have somewhere to live. But there are other things there as well.
Charles Erickson has simply called his page HOME. At the time of writing it is blank!
Simon Bleathman's Home Page is simply some graphics coursework.
James Hammersley's Home Page (basic page, but he will do something to it!) (nicknamed Spike)
Alexander Rimmer's Home Page (another Mech Eng)
Kim Dickinson's Home Page (basic page)
There were more, but at the time of writing they don't have homepages!

Links to clubs and societies I am in

LIFT - The society/support group for students with disabilities that replaced Orange Slice. This stevo empire site uses Javascript to tell you when the next LIFT meeting is.
ChAOS Website (Choral and Orchestral Society) And do you know what? I used to maintain this one as well, but when it was handed over to Ian Gibbs, he revamped it completely. Now maintained by Will Reeves.
BUMS - an IF design - This site has gone from saying "The BUMS Odyssey [now The Works] is currently being planned" months after it happened to being the best Society website 2000/2001. And all thanks to Ian Fuller (who wears an eyebrow-stud - oh dear!)
Irish Society - But you're not Irish, I hear you cry! True - and I don't even like personalised number plates (which everyone in Northern Ireland has)! But I went on their Dublin trip, and apparrently that makes you a member! Sadly, they haven't done anything to the page.
City on a Hill - the Christian Union webpage. I wrote at some stage a column called uninHIBBERTed.

WimpyWeb - another Stevoland, found by Infoseek. I am not considering suing the author as I believe it is simply coincidence that the name is the same.
And yet another Stevoland - again coincidence, presumably.
