Why are all students posers?
When I came to Bath I thought that as we were in the top 10% for intelligence there would be no posers. How wrong I was! In fact, this is an actual transcript of part of a UNIX session:<![CDATA[

Also, do you see those metal plates at the bases of many doors round campus? Do you know why they are there? They are probably there to stop people marking doors when they <B>open them with their feet.</B> This is <B>institutional encouragement of posing!</B><P>
Even I couldn't escape becoming a poser. I tried, but I failed big-time, and I am now the biggest poser in the world, scoring the maximum 18.6 (yes, eighteen point six) on the poser scale. I do everything on the list!</FONT></HTML>
